Does anyone else have a literal dream universe. Like your dreams got so repetitive to the point where you keep having dreams about the same places. The scenarios are different but it’s always the same several places. An exaggerated version of the ca/az canyons, weird alternate reality restaurants spread across socal, a vague foggy version of the next town over, the desert with tornado alley weather. I’m there every night

I have mixed feelings about the sentiment of “children should have their internet access controlled and monitored” because mine was, until the age of 17, by my bigoted conservative father. You see this shit with republican christofascist homeschooling all the time. Control is deadly in the wrong hands. Obviously 5 year olds shouldn’t be on tiktok or sat in front of youtube autoplay and 11 year olds shouldn’t be seeking out liveleak vids, but teens should be allowed internet freedom and you should be having an open dialouge with them about all the dangers and influences. I will never have kids but I would want them to know about shit so they can protect themselves from it. Everything from subtle advertisement to scams to digital footprint to human trafficking and pedophiles. Idk I feel like around age 12 kids can handle that knowledge and be wary. I’d rather them be aware of bad things early and smart than vulnerable and sheltered.
